FAQs

1. Can I disassemble the rack for moving or storage?

Yes, the dowel-based design allows the rack to be taken apart without tools. Lift each tier gently to separate the dowels, and store the components flat. Keeping parts grouped by tier makes reassembly smoother.

2. Is it safe to adjust the height by removing tiers?

Yes, you can remove layers to customize the height, but make sure the top tier always has dowels fully inserted and bars aligned. A shorter rack remains just as stable when assembled correctly.

3. What if the rack creaks when placing bottles?

Creaking usually indicates slight friction between dowels and wood. Removing the bottle and applying a tiny amount of dry bar soap or candle wax to the dowel’s sides can reduce noise without affecting stability.

4. My bottles differ in size. Will they fit properly on the rack?

Most standard wine bottles fit securely, but larger or irregular-shaped bottles may sit higher in the grooves. For mixed sizes, place wider bottles on the lower tiers for better stability and reserve upper tiers for standard bottles.
