FAQs

1. Is the swivel function of reclining chair affected by uneven floors?

Yes, uneven flooring can slightly affect the smoothness of the swivel motion. If one side of the base does not sit evenly on the floor, rotation may feel restricted or unbalanced. Placing the chair on a flat, stable surface helps maintain consistent movement and proper weight distribution.

2. How much space should be left behind the chair for reclining?

It is recommended to leave at least 12–18 inches of clearance behind the chair. This allows the backrest to recline fully without contacting a wall or nearby furniture. Providing adequate space also prevents strain on the reclining mechanism over time.

3. Is lubrication required for the reclining mechanism?

Lubrication is generally not necessary under normal use. The mechanism is designed to operate smoothly without additional treatment. If stiffness develops over time, it is best to inspect hardware first or contact support before applying any lubricant.
