The HOMCOM 3-in-1 Shower Chair (SKU: 713-136V00WT) is a height-adjustable, freestanding toilet aid chair designed for people who need support with bathroom transfers. It has padded armrests for safe sitting and standing, a removable backrest, a seat board with a centre opening, a removable seat cover, and a pull-out commode potty tray that slides under the seat for easy emptying.

Important Notes Before You Start
- Lay out all parts on a clean, flat surface and check them against the parts list before you begin.
- Do not use the chair until all assembly steps are fully complete and all bolts are firmly tightened.
- Do not confuse the long bolts (A) and short bolts (B), they look similar, so check carefully before inserting.
- Hand-tighten every bolt first, then go back and tighten fully with the Allen key once all parts in that step are aligned.
- When adjusting leg height, always set all four legs to the same hole position.
- Keep all small hardware away from young children.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
The HOMCOM 3-in-1 Shower Chair (SKU:713-136V00WT) goes together in six steps. Follow them in order, each step builds on the last.
Step 01 – Attach the Mainframe to the Seat Board

- Place the Seat Board (⑤) up-side down on a flat surface.
- Position both Mainframe (①) pieces on top of the seat board, one on each side, aligning the pre-drilled bolt holes.
- Slide one Washer (C) onto each of the four Short Bolts (B).
- Insert each bolt-and-washer set into the aligned holes and hand-tighten.
- Use the Allen Key (D) to fully tighten all four bolts in a diagonal pattern: top-left, bottom-right, top-right, bottom-left.
Step 02 – Install the Backrest Tubes into the Seat Board

- Take both backrest tubes. Each has a short horizontal arm at the bottom that slots into the rear of the seat board.
- Align the bolt holes on each arm with the holes at the back of the Seat Board (⑤).
- Thread one Washer (C) onto each of the four Long Bolts (A).
- Insert all four bolt-and-washer sets and hand-tighten.
- Fully tighten all four bolts in a diagonal pattern. Both tubes should stand vertically with no wobble.
Step 03 – Insert the Adjusting Legs

- Press the spring-loaded push button on the side of one Adjusting Leg (⑨) inward.
- Slide the leg up into the bottom of one corner of the Mainframe (①).
- Release the button so it clicks into your desired height hole.
- Repeat for all four legs. Set all four to the same hole position.
- Stand the chair upright and check it does not rock. If it rocks, re-check that all four legs are at the same height.
Step 04 – Insert the Armrests

- Press the push button on one Armrest (⑦) post inward.
- Slide the post down into the open tube at the top side of the Mainframe (①) on the left.
- Release the button so it clicks into the locking hole. Tug upward firmly to confirm it is locked.
- Repeat for the right side.
- Both armrests should sit at the same height with the padded grip bar running front-to-back.
Step 05 – Attach the Backrest Board

- Hold the Backrest Board (④) flat against the top of both backrest tubes, smooth side facing forward.
- Align the four pre-drilled holes on the board with the holes on the tops of the tubes, two holes per tube.
- Thread one Washer (C) onto each of the four Short Bolts (B).
- Insert all four bolt-and-washer sets and hand-tighten.
- Fully tighten in a diagonal pattern. The board should sit level with no flex at the joints.
Step 06 – Attach the Commode Potty and Seat Cover

- Slide the Commode Potty (⑧) into the rails inside the Mainframe (①), directly under the seat opening, from the front until it clicks in.
- If the commode function is not needed, clip the Seat Board Cover (⑥) over the centre opening.
- To use the commode, remove the seat cover first. After use, slide the potty out from the front to empty and clean, then slide it back in.
Assembly is now complete.

- Do not use the chair outdoors or on uneven surfaces.
- Before each use, check that no bolts have loosened and that foot caps are not worn or missing.
Maintenance Tips
Seat board and backrest board: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, rinse, and air dry. No abrasive pads, bleach, or harsh chemicals.
- Armrests: Wipe the padded grip with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
- Frame and tubes: Wipe the aluminium frame dry after use. Do not leave standing water around the joints.
- Bolts: Check every few weeks and re-tighten with the Allen Key (D) if any creaking or movement is felt.
- Adjusting legs: Confirm each push button clicks firmly every time height is adjusted. If a button does not spring back fully, inspect the leg before use.
- Foot caps: Check the rubber caps on the base of each leg regularly and replace as soon as significant wear appears.

FAQs
Yes. Remove the commode potty (⑧) completely and clip the seat board cover (⑥) over the opening. The chair then functions as a standard padded shower seat. The aluminium frame and plastic components are water-resistant, but always inspect foot caps before use on wet floors.
The HOMCOM 3-in-1 Shower Chair has a maximum weight capacity of 299 lbs (approximately 136 kg). Do not exceed this limit to ensure the frame and joints remain stable and safe during use.
The chair is a freestanding commode, not designed to sit over or attach to a toilet bowl. It is intended for use with the commode potty (⑧) included in the box, or as a standalone bathroom transfer chair away from the toilet.
Store it indoors in a dry, ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Avoid leaving it in humid rooms such as a bathroom long-term, as standing moisture around the frame joints can cause gradual corrosion. Wipe the frame dry before storage if it has been used in a wet environment.
