The HOMCOM Bamboo Shoe Storage Bench is a smart entryway solution that combines seating and shoe organization in one compact piece. Its solid bamboo frame offers durability, while the padded seat cushion adds comfort for everyday use. Two open slatted bamboo shelves below keep your footwear neatly stored and easily accessible. 

Before You Start

• Lay all parts on a soft, flat surface before beginning.
• Verify the product is not damaged and check no pieces are missing before assembly.
• Do not fully tighten any bolt until all parts are connected.
• Two people are recommended for easier assembly.
• Be aware of crushing and cutting hazards during assembly.
• Keep small hardware away from children.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

Follow each step carefully to assemble your HOMCOM Bamboo Shoe Storage Bench (SKU:837-539V00BK) smoothly and safely.

Step 1: Attach Two Leg Posts to the Top Frame Panel

1. Place the top frame panel ② flat on the floor.
2. Stand one vertical leg post ③ upright at each end of the frame panel and align pre drill holes as shown in image.
3. Insert bolts C through the leg post holes and into the frame panel.
4. Push barrel nuts D into the pre-drilled holes on the inner face of the frame panel to receive the bolts.
5. Hand-tighten bolts C into barrel nuts D, do not fully tighten yet.

 Two leg posts should now stand upright at both ends of the top frame panel.

Step 2: Attach Both Slatted Shelf Panels to the First Side

1. Slide both slatted shelf panels ④ into the grooves on the two attached leg posts.
2. Drive screws A using allen key B through the leg post holes into each shelf panel end, 8 screws total.
3. Tighten to 70–80% only.

Both shelves should now sit level with the slatted side facing upward.

Step 3: Attach the Remaining Two Leg Posts (Other Side)

1. Stand the remaining two leg posts ③ upright on the open side of the shelf assembly.
2. Insert bolts C through the top frame panel holes.
3. Push barrel nuts D into the joining holes of the leg post and top frame panel to receive the bolts, then tighten using allen key B.
4. Drive screws A using allen key B through each leg post into the shelf panel ends.
5. Now fully tighten all bolts and screws across the entire frame.

The frame should feel completely rigid with zero wobble.

Step 4: Place the Padded Seat Cushion Top

1. Now turn the assembled shoes storage bench in its position as shown in the image. 
2. Align the padded seat cushion top ① over the top frame panel ②.
3. Press down until the cushion sits flat and level. The cushion sits securely in place by fit.

Final Check Before Use

• All bolts and screws are fully tightened.
• All four leg posts are flush and stable.
• Both shelves sit level and firm.
• The padded seat cushion sits flat with no movement.
• The bench does not wobble when pressed down.

Safety Notes

• Place on a flat, stable floor surface only.
• Do not exceed the seat weight capacity.
• Do not let children climb or jump on the bench.
• Keep away from open flames.
• Keep away from excessive moisture to protect the bamboo.

Care & Maintenance

• Bamboo frame and shelves: Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
• Padded seat cushion: Spot clean with mild detergent and damp cloth. Air dry completely before use.
• Hardware: Check and re-tighten bolts periodically to keep the bench stable.
• Storage: Store the cushion completely dry in a clean, dry place to avoid the risk of mold.
