Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
Follow the five steps below in order. Each step builds on the last to give you a fully assembled HOMCOM Double Laundry Basket with Lid (SKU: 850-345V00BN).
Step 01: Insert the Bottom Board into the Basket Body

- Stand the Basket Body (A) upright on a flat surface.
- Hold the Bottom Board (B) at a slight angle and lower it into the basket as shown in image.
- Press it flat so it sits evenly along the bottom, giving the basket a firm floor.
Step 02: Place the Fabric Liner into the Basket

- Hold the Fabric Liner (C) by its top frame and lower it into the basket.
- Press the liner down so the flexible frame along the top edge rests flush against the inner top rim of the basket.
- Smooth out any bunching so the liner sits flat against all four sides.
Step 03: Secure the Liner Frame to the Basket

- Look for the small clips on the inner top rim of the Basket Body (A).
- Press the top frame of the Fabric Liner (C) into these clips until it snaps securely in place.
- Run your hand around the full rim to confirm the liner frame is locked evenly on all sides with no gaps.
Step 04: Insert the Inner Support Frame

- Hold the Inner Support Frame (D) above the basket opening with the two upright rods pointing downward.
- Lower it straight down into the basket, guiding the rods into their designated slots at the base.
- Press down firmly until the frame seats fully and the basket holds its shape without collapsing inward.
Step 05: Place the Lid on Top

- Lift the Lid (E) by its cut-out handle and place it flat on top of the basket opening.
- Press down gently until it sits level and flush with the top rim on all sides.
Assembly is now complete.
Assembly Check (Before Use)
Run through all the checks below before placing laundry inside.
- The bottom board sits flat with no rocking inside the basket.
- The fabric liner is fully snapped in place at the top rim with no loose edges.
- The inner support frame is fully seated and the basket holds its shape without help.
- The lid sits flat and level on top with no tilting.
- Both rope handles are fully intact and attached securely on each side.
Safety & Usage Notes
- Do not stand on or apply downward pressure to the lid. It is not designed to bear weight.
- Do not overfill the basket beyond the top of the liner. Overloading can stress the bamboo frame and rope handles.
- Keep the hamper away from direct water sources. Prolonged moisture exposure can warp the bamboo slats or weaken the rope handles.
- Always lift the hamper using both rope handles at the same time to distribute the weight evenly.
Maintenance Tips
- Bamboo frame and lid: Wipe with a lightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners or abrasive pads.
- Fabric liner: The liner is removable for easy cleaning. Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle and allow it to air dry completely before placing it back in the basket.
- Rope handles: Inspect periodically for fraying. If a handle shows signs of wear, avoid carrying heavy loads until it is replaced.

FAQs
The 26.4 gallon figure refers to the total combined capacity of the basket. This is a single-compartment hamper with one liner, not a divided two-section design. The capacity is generous enough to hold a full load of laundry for one to two people between washes.
Yes. The liner is removable and the basket works with any similarly sized laundry bag. Just make sure the replacement bag has a firm enough top edge to sit cleanly inside the rim, otherwise it may sag or fall inward when you toss laundry in.
Yes. The Inner Support Frame keeps the basket body rigid whether it is full or empty, and the flat base sits evenly on the floor. The basket will not collapse or tip when empty and open.
