Packaged neatly. My husband put it together for me but it only took him a few minutes. Nice and lightweight (easy to pick up and move if you can't "scoot" somewhere). Saddle seat provides exactly the ergonomic benefit I was hoping for, however I would caution you to grab the "pointy" part of the saddle seat BEFORE you sit down. I've almost fallen because I didn't look carefully at the angle I was using to sit down, and if you sit on it wrong, the seat won't "catch" you. However I've overcome that...
