So far, so good. The foam inside is nicely firm, and the fabric is removable via a zipper on the underside which simply spans from front to back about a third of the way in from one edge. I haven't used the zipper yet, so I don't know easy it'll be to reinsert the foam as compared to a zipper that runs at least the length of the cushion along its side, but time will tell on that one.
