It's okay
If you just need an affordable and comfortable coffee table, this one is good! Lift top is good, the height is enough to sit and eat comfortably. So, overall it is good for it's price.

Perfect as a minimalist TV cabinet!!!
So I'm actually not using this as a coffee table, but instead am using it as a center table for my home theater. Space is limited in NYC so I can't house a regular TV stand as the length would be too long and would block the entry way to the bedrooms. I also have a beastly center speaker with an AV receiver and amp that weighs 140+ pounds... most traditional TV stands in smaller dimensions are simply too tall and/or too cheap. Hence, I ended up utilizing coffee tables of this size as my TV stand....

So I'm actually not using this as a coffee table, but instead am using it as a center table for my home theater. I also have a beastly center speaker with an AV receiver and amp that weighs 140+ pounds... most traditional TV stands in smaller dimensions are simply too tall and/or too cheap. Hence, I ended up utilizing coffee tables of this size as my TV stand. My search was complicated by the fact that I needed clearance in the bottom for my heavy duty AV equipment. It was the only one that fit the dimensions I needed. After a year, it started to bow from the weight of my center speaker. It also did not have any storage. It was just a simple table, so all the ugly AV wires from behind were exposed. Shipment actually arrived 3 days early via FedEX. The box was a little beat up, but all contents inside were protected and present. The particle boards seems very sturdy and super high quality. They're comparable to iKea's MALM furniture which I have some of in my bedroom. Those I've had for years and are still going strong, so I am hoping this coffee table will be the same. A Phillips screw driver is really the only necessary tool to build the unit. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. If you're any sort of handyman, this shouldn't take more than an hour to assemble solo. At some point, I'll probably use my hole saw to pass wires in the back so I can utilize the table storage for more AV equipment. If I had a bigger living room, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a second one and use it as my actual coffee table. The hinge to prop up the table to eating height looks like such a convenient and fun feature to have... but alas, no space for a second table. So in conclusion, I highly recommend this table.

Good table but a little tipsy because of weight
Be careful eating/leaning on the table when the top is lifted as the weight is not distributed great. I loaded up the inside of the table with books so that the back is a lot heavier.

HOMCOM 39" Modern Lift Table
This is an excellent and versatile table. It arrived very quickly and I just love it and am very satisfied. The price was also very reasonable.

Great Coffee Table
This has been a great table, sits at the perfect height for our couch and chairs. only downside I could see is if you had a higher sitting couch. The only downside I found was when placing the lift table back into place, it would slam pretty hard. so we had to pick up a few rubber pads. Other than that, its been great.

I live in a small decent sized apartment and didn't think I would have use for a coffee table, but I was surprised at how many times I'm on my laptop and watching a movie/tv show in the living room! I can tell you this... This table is SOLID and doesn't feel cheap at all. Came in a tightly packed box that's not too heavy. The instructions are simple and the steps for assembly are pretty easy (think Ikea style). It took me roughly 20 minutes to complete the setup. A Philips screwdriver is all you really need (not provided).
I am able to type on the laptop as if I were sitting at my desk. Overall... if you are looking for a lift top that's on the smaller size compared to other lift top... THIS is it! Nicely priced, solid built and functional. Thanks! Put away
