Perfect as a minimalist TV cabinet!!!

So I'm actually not using this as a coffee table, but instead am using it as a center table for my home theater. Space is limited in NYC so I can't house a regular TV stand as the length would be too long and would block the entry way to the bedrooms. I also have a beastly center speaker with an AV receiver and amp that weighs 140+ pounds... most traditional TV stands in smaller dimensions are simply too tall and/or too cheap. Hence, I ended up utilizing coffee tables of this size as my TV stand.... Read More So I'm actually not using this as a coffee table, but instead am using it as a center table for my home theater. Hence, I ended up utilizing coffee tables of this size as my TV stand. My search was complicated by the fact that I needed clearance in the bottom for my heavy duty AV equipment. It was the only one that fit the dimensions I needed. After a year, it started to bow from the weight of my center speaker. It also did not have any storage. It was just a simple table, so all the ugly AV wires from behind were exposed. Shipment actually arrived 3 days early via FedEX. The box was a little beat up, but all contents inside were protected and present. The particle boards seems very sturdy and super high quality. They're comparable to iKea's MALM furniture which I have some of in my bedroom. Those I've had for years and are still going strong, so I am hoping this coffee table will be the same. A Phillips screw driver is really the only necessary tool to build the unit. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. If you're any sort of handyman, this shouldn't take more than an hour to assemble solo. At some point, I'll probably use my hole saw to pass wires in the back so I can utilize the table storage for more AV equipment. If I had a bigger living room, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a second one and use it as my actual coffee table. The hinge to prop up the table to eating height looks like such a convenient and fun feature to have... but alas, no space for a second table. So in conclusion, I highly recommend this table. Works alright

Not the best in the world, but for the price it works alright for me. It's really not too shabby. It allows me to sit on my couch and watch my TV while eating something, lol. Also, it is the perfect height. I knew that going into it. I specifically bought it because the extended height was high enough for me. Some others I saw are not. It lifts and closes pretty easily and softly both ways. It could use some weight in it, but what i do is just put my feet wrapped around the two closest legs when... Super sturdy desk

With my work and school moving online, I needed a desk for my studio apartment but couldn't fit one anywhere, so I bought this and use it next to my couch as a desk and I love it. Great for eating and working on a laptop plus more storage space. It's a little frustrating to put together, especially getting the top part screwed in place, but it is very durable (just survived a move to a new apartment) and works great as a desk

Good table but a little tipsy because of weight

Be careful eating/leaning on the table when the top is lifted as the weight is not distributed great. I loaded up the inside of the table with books so that the back is a lot heavier. Good table though!

HOMCOM 39" Modern Lift Table

This is an excellent and versatile table. It arrived very quickly and I just love it and am very satisfied. The price was also very reasonable.

(Putting it together is a bit of a struggle but it's worth it.)

Great Coffee Table

This has been a great table, sits at the perfect height for our couch and chairs. only downside I could see is if you had a higher sitting couch. The only downside I found was when placing the lift table back into place, it would slam pretty hard. so we had to pick up a few rubber pads. Other than that, its been great.
