Surprisingly Satisfied

It's decently sturdy although I did add some extra screws and clamps to assist with that.
The cage is bigger then I expected and I can walk in it easily. The pieces fit together decently and it's very very cute.

Cute cage for the parakeets

This is very cute and spacious for small birds. I took the advice of another reviewer and added the same 1/4" mesh to the bottom of the cage so the small birds cannot escape through the bottom. Mine was missing one piece...the top/center of the arch in the roof, it's supposed to come with two (front and rear), mine only had one..however, I used that one piece to make a template onto another piece of wood trim that I had laying around and used my tablesaw and was able to construct something 'good... Lazy instructions

Assembly is fairly straightforward but the instructions should be more detailed. The point could not be illustrated better by the various posted photographs where buyers have decided to put both knobs on the bottom drawer, which I think is the original design, whereas others have put one on the large door.

Some reviewers mentioned the lack of chickenwire on the bottom. I think they are entirely justified as the instructions do indicate chickenwire.

I love it!

Pros:
-It's beautiful & has a unique look compared to other bird cages. The colour is a very nice natural light cherry stain.
-My birds can't escape like they can with regular barred cages.
- It's good for inside or outside

Cons:
-Directions are photos with no words so it took a little longer to put together but in the end, we put it together. Had to use the photos from this site for reference.
-There's no place for a water or food bowl, so they're on the floor inside the cage.

-Whoever stapled the wire on, didn't pull it tight so it's a little wonky and some spots on the wood were minimally broken or cracked

- The top inside of the cage has no bars it's just the wood from the roof so if you want to hang anything like a swing or a toy, you have to get creative. I just bent one of my old top cage wire steps to fit in at the top.
