Great product but not parrot safe out of the box.
Hello and greetings from Kanab Utah, USA... this is a great perch for your medium and smaller size parrots. Before you give anything to your parrot you must thoroughly inspect it for potential injurious conditions. This product required some small amount of work to remove metal burrs and sharp corners and edges of the metal frame that the perch is made of. This will require a hand file or dremel type grinding tool. Just take your time and be thorough when inspecting and identifying spots that need to be removed. Please be very thorough because you know your parrot will be very thorough and you certainly do not want your feathered companion to get injured because of your not being attentive. Only the most expensive products in my experience are safe right out of the box. I do not assume anything and inspect everything before my Molly (African Grey) can take possession of a new toy, perch, cage or area she will be playing in or with. And as always, she is afraid of everything until she isn't and then I can't keep her away from it! Respectfully, Utah Mike.

Nice for the price
Our lorikeet loves this bird perch. It is easy to clean. However, the feeding dish screws on and one of the screws came off so the feeding dishes are useless.
Great table top perch!
This bird perch is very practical for our house. I was looking into a tall perch for our Quaker but this popped up during my search. Only issue I have are the bowls are directly on the outer edges so be sure to put paper down around the area you set it to catch poop & seeds!
Parrot loves it, Human mostly likes it!
The frame is wonderful! A little warped so I had to finagle a bit to get everything assembled, but it sits securely enough on a flat surface without rocking, and my bird loves it!The plastic tray is a disappointment - it's very brittle plastic, and the kind that feels like you'll never quite be able to completely scrub it clean. Mine arrived broken with a crack on one of the rims; I've decided just to keep it and look for a replacement tray of better quality. The benefit is it is nice and DEEP though, which catches the pellets and crumbs when they bounce. The bowls are bigger than I was expecting, and made of very thin metal. I had to scrub some kind of filmy, silver-white residue from the welding of their screw-post off the inside and outside of the bowls. (I was more worried about the inside where my bird's food goes!) macaws might find it not quite wide enough for their beaks I think? but any bird smaller will love it - Greys, cockatoos, amazons, etc. i got this for my Green Cheek Conure and she loves perching on it and eating, though it's hilarious to watch her grab food because she can practically fit in the dish.If anyone knows any smaller bowls, let me know! XDOverall - decent buy for the purchase despite its flaws, and would maybe buy it again if I wanted a second table perch.
